Today we had gun Photographer Matthew Mead shoot hot little miss Cynthia Lu modelling freshly landed Import Bible gear for Zen at my place.
As usual I snapped a few behind the scenes shots :) More of my shots from today are up on Zen: http://zengarage.com.au/2013/06/behind-the-scenes-import-bible-ft-cynthia-lu-by-matthew-mead/
Spotted: GT2 @ Zen Garage.
What to wear? So many clothes!
Zen hoodies, back in stock this year.
My fave shot of the day, lovely.
I love work :) Yesterday we shot a video with Melanie at Zen. She’s real fun to work with! I rattled off a few behind the scenes shots. Click here for more.
Our display at the official opening night at Reading Cinemas Auburn.
I’ve seen FF6 2 times this week. Nuts right? On Monday we had a pre-screening at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter. Narada from Circuit Club once again managed to score a private theatre and we managed to raise $3510 for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, and last Thursday night we were invited to set up a display outside of Reading Cinemas in Auburn to celebrate the official opening night. I had the Acquired Taste guys set up their rides and Revhead, a guy I met during the Raise the Sun fundraising party last weekend displayed his bike too.
On the movie: I wanted it to be so bad that it’s good, but in reality they’ve actually made a good action film. I wasn’t sure whether or not I was going to watch it the 2nd time around, but I’m glad I did as I found it way better the 2nd time around than the first. Haha.
That home-brew vibe.
50+ bikes descend on Zen Garage.
Popo showed up.
The crowd inside.
To help get Rising Sun Workshop off the ground we hosted a fundraising event at Zen Garage. The event brought the Sydney 2 wheeled community together for a ride, followed by quality Single Origin coffee, hearty food, beers, live bands, a raffle, a live Auction and even a burlesque show!
Loved having these guys over at the garage. Such a different crowd to what we’re used to, but that familiar great vibe. I took a few more photos on Zen.
Zen babes Kacy and Melanie.
Glenn and Alain getting the car limbo going in the stanced All Stars buggy!
The limbo in full swing!
Trophies which we’ll be handing out soon!
Our All Stars “Stance Off” event sponsored by Stance Nation (USA) went off today. Weather was P E R F E C T and the vibe was awesome. The car limbo got a lot of laughs as expected! Lots more pics will be online over the next few days I’m sure. I’ll be sure to edit the post with links later.
The Holy Grail.
The boss’ toy. Spotted this in the garage next door to the Subway.
The last stop, we’re almost there.
Our house from the outside.
Awesome by night, even better in the morning (despite having a huge one on our first night).
Pool table went off all weekend.
We had our own private jetty too (shame I didn’t bring the rods!).
Hitting the strip was hilarious. The Maloo turns so many heads on looks alone, then my car confuses with it’s loud supercharger whine, then Dom’s intense GT-R just completes the diverse 3.
Back at the house, double apple sesh.
Love a rental house with nice things in it.
Hey Iris. The only (brave) girl bunking in the house.
Paul and Glenny Boy.
Glenn trying to sneak up on a sting ray.
Dat ass again.
Our Zen stand at All Stars Gold Coast.
Epic day was epic. The show from above.
Farewell group shot.
Waiting out front for the Acquired Taste boys.
On the long road home I got excited every time we came across tunnels.
Late lunch at Coffs.
Last Thursday morning the Zen Garage/All Stars Crew + Acquired Taste boys hit the road to Queensland for All Stars on the Gold Coast. The trip up was awesome, much classic karaoke was had and our convoy of car porn really made the epic trek feel a little easier.
The pimp house which greeted us was icing on the cake. Fantastic kitchen, a swimming pool, a pool table too. We partied hard that night (and every night after that).
QLD really turned on the weather, every single day was perfect. On the Sunday we set up early and our jaws dropped at the quality of the cars rolling in. The day was epic, the vibe was electric. The venue was so classy and the people were too. No hoons, perfect behaviour from everyone in attendance, even the cops who were doing laps in their buggy loved the show.
There will be a billion and one photos from the event popping up in the internet over the next few weeks (I missed a LOT of the action). In the meantime click here to check out some photos from the Downshift crew.
